A friendly and sweet looking farmhouse in a Dutch small town is a deceiving façade for what you find inside. Renowned Dutch sculptress, Judith Wiersema bought this typical A-frame farm six years ago and created a retreat for herself and her art after her divorce in 2012. Without altering the exterior, the interior became a bright open space with concrete floors, dark-grey walls and an exposed brick wall. Her art studio is located in the conservatory at the back.
